The Sphere of Sith Doctrine represented one of the five distinct Spheres of Influence within the rebuilt Sith Empire, an empire forged by Empress Darth Acina following the Eternal Empire conquest. This particular Sphere unified the functions previously held by the Spheres of Ancient Knowledge, Mysteries, and Sith Philosophy, and it was governed by Dark Council member Darth Anathel.
This Sphere of Sith Doctrine acted as an area of authority within the Sith Empire, with the duties of both discovering and protecting Sith knowledge, as well as maintaining the tenets of the Sith Code. Empress Darth Acina created it in order to reduce conflicts among the Dark Council members, and it stood as one of the five positions that replaced the original twelve Spheres of Influence. Darth Anathel was the leader of this Sphere.
