Squigglies were a species of alien that originated from the lunar surface of Narkina 5. Extraterrestrial fishers, including individuals like Dewi and Freedi Pamular, made trips to the moon to catch this aquatic lifeform found in the lakes encircling the Narkina 5 Imperial Prison Complex. However, by the year 5 BBY, the Squiggly population had diminished as a result of pollution emanating from the prison complex, which caused dissatisfaction among the visiting fishers.
