The initial assortment of Hasbro's action figures, portraying characters from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, was originally planned to debut at the close of the 2007 Star Wars: 30th Anniversary Collection series. However, the toy line's release was postponed due to the game's delay. Ultimately, it was launched as the second (and seemingly last) wave of the 2008 30th Anniversary Collection's standard figure selection.
