The sixty-second edition of Star Wars Insider magazine, Star Wars Insider 62, hit newsstands in October of 2002. This issue represented a significant change, as it was the inaugural Star Wars Insider released under the banner of Paizo Publishing. Furthermore, the magazine transitioned to an eight-times-per-year release schedule, a notable increase from its previous bimonthly cadence, which had been in effect since issue 35 in September of 1997. A special Topps trading card from the 2002 Topps Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Widevision collection was included with Issue 62.
