Star Wars Kids number 7 represents the seventh installment of the Star Wars Kids magazine series. Scholastic served as the publisher, with its debut occurring in March of 1998. Star Wars Kids 7 was distributed solely to those subscribed to Scholastic's Star Wars Missions series aimed at younger readers, a roleplaying game delivered as a monthly subscription through the mail. These monthly deliveries included both a fresh issue of the Star Wars Kids magazine alongside the newest Star Wars Missions adventure book. The seventh adventure book of the game, titled Ithorian Invasion, was bundled together with Star Wars Kids 7.
