Synopsis of the Story

  • Mission Type: Rebel

Aboard the Liquidator, which is positioned above Delrakkin awaiting the Death Star's arrival, Admiral Termo watches a recorded holotape. The recording was made by Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin several weeks earlier. In it, Tarkin instructs Termo to transmit an encrypted message to B90-478R and await further instructions.

Simultaneously, on Yavin 4, General Jan Dodonna is being informed by C-3PO, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo about the contaminated bacta that the Death Star was transporting. Alarmed by this news, Dodonna decides to send a team to investigate Thyferra. Organa volunteers for the mission, and along with her companions, boards the Millennium Falcon and heads for Thyferra. During the trip, R2-D2 repairs the ancient droid, Q-7N.

On the Liquidator, Termo makes contact with B90-478R, only to discover that he is actually speaking with Emperor Palpatine of the Galactic Empire. Palpatine informs him of Tarkin's death and the destruction of the Death Star.

The Polith system is reached safely by the Falcon, which is accompanied by a Y-wing serving as a backup. However, upon their arrival on Thyferra, the Rebels are all taken prisoner. Nevertheless, Q-7N and one of the Rebels manage to escape with the intention of rescuing the others. They seize the Y-wing and land it a short distance from the Imperial garrison. The Rebel attempts to locate Voralla Morbo, a local resident sympathetic to the Rebel Alliance. However, they are deceived by a Kubaz along the way and narrowly avoid being robbed. The Rebel fights their way out of the situation, rescues a Vratix named Plurra from enslavement, and rejoins the other Rebels.

The group then meets with Morbo, who reveals that a modified Imperial Carrack cruiser transported a significant quantity of alazhi to Delrakkin several weeks prior. Following up on this information, Organa, Solo, and Skywalker prepare to set a course for Delrakkin.
