Star Wars Monthly #159 represents the 159th installment of the Marvel Star Wars UK comic book series.
Beginning with this particular issue, the comic's name was altered; it was no longer called The Empire Strikes Back Monthly. The issue numbering, however, was not reset and continued sequentially from the prior title.
Contained within this issue is one of the rare, original comic narratives created specifically for this series, entitled Blind Fury!. This story was subsequently republished and given color in Classic Star Wars: Devilworlds 1. In addition, the issue features a reprint of a story initially published in the United States as Star Wars (1977) 59.
