Classic Star Wars: Devilworlds 1

Classic Star Wars: Devilworlds 1, the initial installment of the two-part Classic Star Wars: Devilworlds series, presents reprinted and colorized narratives originating from the Marvel UK Star Wars comic book publication.

Publisher's summary

A stormtrooper recalls a young woman's fate on Lurr, remembering her death at his own hand. The rising wind threatens to overwhelm his cries, while the shadows loom, poised to consume his very essence. Regardless of the magnitude of your transgressions, when Clat the Shamer's gaze falls upon you, your guilt will become an unbearable burden. This collection of reprinted tales, previously unavailable in North America, showcases the early works of acclaimed talents such as Alan Moore (of Watchmen and From Hell fame), Alan Davis, John Stokes, Steve Moore, and Steve Parkhouse, culled from the hard-to-find Star Wars comics magazine published by Marvel U.K. in the early 1980s. These stories, somewhat out of sync with the broader Star Wars narrative, offer a unique glimpse into their early work.

Stories

Continuity

The narratives featured in Devilworlds are part of Marvel's Star Wars (1977) comic book saga, thus aligning with the S-Canon designation within the Legends continuity, unless explicitly referenced elsewhere. However, one particular story deviates from this established canon. The Flight of the Falcon introduces an origin story for the Millennium Falcon that is undeniably inconsistent with Legends lore, classifying it as Infinities.
