Star Wars Weekly #1 marks the debut issue of the Star Wars Marvel UK comic book series.
Similar to the American Marvel Star Wars comics, the series commenced with a retelling of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, presented in twelve installments rather than the original six. This encompasses the initial portion of the narrative that was released in the US as Star Wars (1977) #1.
