Starship Trap

A Starship Trap functioned as a defensive mechanism employed by both the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire to safeguard their planetary holdings, such as on Tatooine. Functioning as proximity sensors upon activation, these circular contraptions would transition into homing beacons after their sensors were triggered. A holoprojector was also integrated, which showed the category and model of starship that would be summoned. These Starship Traps came in three specific varieties: Starfighter Traps, Bomber Traps, and Dropship Traps.
