Supreme Leader was a designation of military rank held by Asajj Ventress, the Dark Acolyte, a Force-sensitive individual. She was employed by Count Dooku, the head of state of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, functioning as both an assassin and a commander within the Separatist Droid Army. Placed in command of an army by her superior, the Supreme Leader used a battalion of battle droids against Yoda. This was an attempt to kill the Jedi Order's Grand Master and intimidate King Kattuunko of Toydaria to join the CIS. Despite this, Yoda, aided by clone troopers from the diplomatic service, prevailed over the Separatist droids and encountered Ventress directly, forcing Count Dooku's dangerous agent to escape Rugosa.
