A scarce flower, known as a T'karra flower, flourished on the planet Gand. The Gand, the planet's inhabitants, considered it integral to their sacred ceremonies. Before 4 ABY, Zuckuss and other young members of his clan had to obtain a T'karra flower from the charon's nesting area as part of his Great Rite. Garkung, a Gand, obtained a flower but was subsequently killed by a charon. Zuckuss triumphed over the charon but came back to the Master Findsman without the flower. Zuckuss was exiled from his clan because he didn't bring back a flower.
