Tealart

Tealart, a shipman of Mon Calamari descent, served within the ranks of the Galactic Alliance Remnant.

Biography

As a member of the Galactic Alliance Remnant, Tealart found himself opposing Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, a significant adversary. Eventually, he ascended to the position of bridge shipman on the Imperious-class Star Destroyer named Alliance, which served as the flagship of Gar Stazi.

Following the Battle of Dac, Imperial agents made contact with Tealart. They revealed the capture of his wife and child on Dac, threatening their lives as potential victims of the ongoing genocide unless he betrayed Stazi and the Remnant. Despite his profound regret, Tealart yielded to their demands, agreeing to guide Imperial forces to the fleet and assassinate Stazi.

Fortunately, Tealart's attempt to assassinate Stazi was unsuccessful. Although he managed to shoot Stazi, Jedi Master Drok intervened, cut off Tealart's right arm before he could fire again, leading to his subsequent imprisonment. After Stazi, having survived the blaster shot, confronted him, Tealart confessed his motivations for the betrayal, expressing deep remorse. Stazi, understanding the complexities of divided loyalties, promised to contact the Mon Calamari Rangers to seek assistance for Tealart's family. Tealart was then informed that he would face a court-martial and execution for his actions. Although forgiven, his actions during the attack_on_the_galactic_alliance_core_fleet in the Arkanis sector were deemed unforgivable. Tealart acknowledged this and expressed his gratitude to Stazi for his efforts to help his family.
