Temerancé, a world covered in forests, existed within the Rekai system situated in the Outer Rim. This planet was cut off by its Stormwall after the Nihil pirates created the Occlusion Zone. Temerancé was the target of numerous Nihil attacks, during which they abducted Force-sensitive younglings, one of whom was Lene. Ty Yorrick, a monster hunter, landed on Temerancé seeking employment, but planned to leave upon discovering the Nihil were involved. Nevertheless, Lene's mother informed Yorrick about the abducted children, imploring her to rescue them, including Lene.
