Sula was an Altiri who called the planet of Temerancé home during the age of the High Republic Era. They were a parent to several children, the eldest of whom was the Force-sensitive Lene Kostana. After Temerancé was enveloped by the Occlusion Zone created by the Nihil raiders, Lene, along with other children, was abducted by the Nihil. Ty Yorrick, a monster hunter summoned to Temerancé initially to hunt a beast, decided to leave upon discovering the true nature of the threat. It was then that Lene's parent approached Yorrick, desperately sharing the plight of their daughter and the other Force-sensitive children, begging for their rescue.
During the High Republic Era, Sula, an Altiri, resided on the planet Temerancé and was a parent to multiple children, the eldest being Lene Kostana, who was Force-sensitive. In 229 BBY, after Temerancé became part of the Occlusion Zone, a territory cut off by the Stormwall barrier by the Nihil marauders, a Nihil raiding party launched numerous attacks on the planet. During one of these raids, the Nihil kidnapped children with abilities in the Force, including Lene.
The inhabitants of the settlement, under the leadership of Speaker Klop Nol, requested the presence of Ty Yorrick, a former Jedi turned monster hunter. Upon Yorrick's arrival at the settlement, Nol revealed that the Nihil were the target. The hunter declined, stating that her quarry was only monsters and that she was no longer a Jedi. As the monster hunter prepared to depart, Lene's parent, holding another child, called out, asking her to pause. The grief-stricken parent explained to Yorrick that the Nihil had been seizing Force-sensitive children, including their eldest daughter, and implored her to come to the children's rescue.
Lene's parent, after their daughter's abduction, implored Yorrick to rescue the children, unconcerned by the hunter's claims of not being a Jedi. The individual had long white hair that extended down their back, light purple skin, and dark purple eyes. Distinct blue markings adorned the front of their hair, and blue gemstones were positioned on their forehead.
While present on Temerancé, Lene's parent wore a dress of pale green hue.
Sula made an appearance, though without a name, in the first issue of the Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Saber for Hire comic series. This series was penned by Cavan Scott, with illustrations by Rachael Stott, and was released by Dark Horse Comics on April 17, 2024 as a contribution to Phase III of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
