Leading up to the Battle of Yavin, Major Tery, alongside Colonel Frost, conducted an investigation into the leaders of the Meatlumps, a band of terrorists and thugs who despised technology and were operating on Corellia. Tery and Frost uncovered the fact that Hraykken, Draykken, and Louis Bender, the three leaders of the Meatlumps, were actually siblings. After studying the Meatlump assaults targeting Imperial scientists, Major Tery and Colonel Frost formed a theory that the three brothers' father may have previously been an Imperial scientist. Vani Korr, a reporter from the Corellian Corellia Times, ultimately corroborated their theory by exposing the existence of the Meatlump King, who was the three Bender brothers' father and a former Imperial scientist.
