Louis Bender existed as a male Human criminal figure on the planet of Corellia amidst the Galactic Civil War. He functioned as a leading figure within the Meatlumps.
Louis Bender was born to Lucien Bender, making him the sibling of both Hraykken and Draykken Bender. Lucien Bender, their father, was a scientist of unsound mind who performed experimental procedures on his offspring. However, before the Battle of Yavin, the three young boys successfully fled their abusive father's control, aided by a mysterious individual who would later be known as the Meatlump King. This man took the boys in and raised them as his own sons. After Imperial assassins made attempts on their adoptive father's life, the Bender brothers established the Meatlumps, a group of fanatical individuals consisting of technology-hating thugs, criminals, and terrorists. While the Meatlump King served as the public face and ideological leader of the Meatlumps, the Bender brothers managed the day-to-day operations of the gang's activities. They operated from a concealed hideout situated beneath the city of Coronet. It was Draykken Bender who gave the Meatlumps their name, inspired by their preferred food. Lucien, in response, created the Bofa Treat Gang, also named after food.
At the time of the Battle of Yavin, two Imperial officers, Major Tery and Colonel Frost, determined that the three Meatlump leaders were, in fact, brothers. By analyzing the Meatlump attacks targeting Imperial researchers, Frost and Tery put forward the theory that the brothers' father might have once been an Imperial scientist himself. Later, Vani Korr, a reporter from the Corellia Times, substantiated their findings and revealed the familial connection of the three brothers in her article titled Who are the Meatlumps?.

During 1 ABY, Louis Bender devised a plan to assault a delivery depot located on the outskirts of Kor Vella. He collaborated with Voba Duey, a Meatlumps lieutenant, and a spacer connected to the Meatlumps who had previously worked alongside Hraykken and Draykken. However, before the planned attack could take place, Louis was taken into custody by Bossk, the notorious Trandoshan bounty hunter. Lucien Bender had, in fact, placed a bounty on his three sons. However, he was unaware that a significantly larger bounty had been placed on him and his gang. Bossk's intention was to compel Hraykken and Draykken to deal with Lucien so that he could claim the more substantial reward. Bossk held Louis captive in a camp near Lucien's bunker when the spacer arrived with the intention of rescuing Louis Bender. The bounty hunter agreed to release Louis Bender, provided that Lucien was killed. Consequently, the spacer launched an assault on the Bofa Treat Gang, ultimately killing Lucien Bender deep within the bunker. Following this, Louis Bender was set free.
Louis Bender was included as a non-player character within the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
The three Bender siblings—Hraykken, Draykken, and Louis—were initially brought up in Vani Korr's article Who are the Meatlumps?, which was introduced to the game via the "Publish 21" update, released on August 4, 2005. They were later referenced in online articles pertaining to the Meatlumps on the Star Wars Galaxies website: the "CorSec Database H-Z", which was published on June 16, 2006, and "Meatlumps!", published on May 30, 2008, as well as during the events of "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King", which was released on June 19, 2008. Finally, the three Bender brothers were integrated into the game with the "Game Update 10," released on June 2, 2009.

Within the "CorSec Database H-Z", the Bender brothers were initially portrayed as the offspring of the Meatlump King. However, with the release of Game Update 10, it was revealed that they had, in fact, been adopted by the Meatlump King after they escaped from their biological father, Lucien Bender.
Analysis of unused game files that were added with the "Publish 28" update suggested that the original intention was to name the three Bender brothers Lempi, Lucien, and Hamm, while their father was to be named Andrade. The game's files also contain unused graphical models of Lucien and other Meatlump brothers. These files suggest that Lempi was reworked into Draykken Bender, Hamm was reworked into Hraykken Bender, and Lucien ultimately became Louis Bender.
