The Clone Wars 6, also known as "Slaves of the Republic Chapter 6: Escape from Kadavo," represents the concluding chapter of the six-part Star Wars: The Clone Wars miniseries, which was later developed into a full-fledged monthly comic book.
The thrilling conclusion to "Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Slaves of the Republic" sees Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano in a desperate struggle to liberate both themselves and the enslaved population of Kiros from a life of servitude. Their opposition includes not only the Zygerrian slavers, but also Count Dooku, who has arrived with Asajj Ventress in an attempt to salvage the Separatist-fueled slave trade.
Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, along with a small contingent of clone troopers, successfully infiltrate Kadavo, the homeworld of the Zygerrian slavers. The Zygerrians' leader threatens to execute all of the slaves unless Anakin and Ahsoka surrender themselves. Anakin refuses to surrender, but Commander Cody, the clones' commanding officer, informs Anakin of the arrival of Separatist reinforcements. Asajj Ventress leads these Separatist forces. Despite the clones' blockade of the planet, Ventress manages to descend to the surface. However, Cody and his clone troopers successfully destroy the vulture droids in the sky, forcing Ventress to retreat. Before Ventress is forced to leave the area, she destroys the supports of the slave base, and the head guard is shocked and angered by Ventress's betrayal. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Captain Rex defeat the remaining guards. The slaves' holding area sustains damage from the attack, and the holding area is in danger of falling into the lava below the base. The Jedi manage to position a small ship beneath the base, rescuing the slaves from certain death. Following this, the Togruta decide they need to learn how to defend themselves, and Rex teaches them how to fight back on Kiros after the base has been destroyed.
