The Maestro

The Maestro was a Haxion Brood crime organization's Bounty Droid, active during the Imperial Era. This droid was originally a loadlifter droid, but the Haxion Brood modified it with scavenged components and reprogrammed it. Its features included silver plating, blue [sensors](/article/sensor]s, and a wrist blaster that was integrated into its design.

In 14 BBY, The Maestro engaged in combat with the Jedi Padawan named Cal Kestis. Ultimately, the droid was unsuccessful and met its destruction at the hands of the Jedi.

Behind the scenes

The Maestro made an appearance in the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was published by Respawn Entertainment. Within the game's narrative, following the player's attempt to return to the ship, known as the Stinger Mantis, after a visit to the Zeffonian Tomb of Miktrull located on the planet Zeffo, there's a possibility of being ambushed and captured by one of the Haxion Brood's bounty hunters, which could include The Maestro. Should Kestis awaken imprisoned on the Haxion Brood's base of Ordo Eris, and if The Maestro was the specific bounty hunter responsible for his capture, a battle ensues, leading to the droid's destruction within the Haxion Fight Pit. Alternatively, if The Maestro wasn't the hunter who captured Kestis, the player might encounter the droid in various locations after the Ordo Eris section of the storyline. Players have the option to destroy the droid and scan it to receive the "Haxion Brood Bounty Droid" tactical guide entry, assuming it hasn't been obtained already.
