The final resting place of Miktrull, a Zeffo Sage strong in the Force, was the Tomb of Miktrull. This tomb was constructed underground on the planet Zeffo, situated in the Outer Rim. Its design was elaborate, featuring a pair of primary halls, one of which facilitated the raising of the tomb's spire. Zeffonian Tomb Guardians, crafted by the Zeffo, stood watch over the tomb. The tomb's architecture prominently incorporated Zeffonian energy spheres and the Life Wind – the Zeffonian term for the Force. While creatures like the scazz had infiltrated its confines, the tomb remained largely intact when the Galactic Empire arrived on Zeffo and initiated Project Auger. This Imperial initiative aimed to unearth valuable Zeffonian relics for the Galactic Emperor. The Empire's discovery of the tomb was triggered by the actions of Cal Kestis, a fugitive Jedi Padawan, in 14 BBY. Kestis' exploration of the tomb during his quest to rebuild the Jedi Order by locating a Zeffonian astrium ultimately led the Empire to its location.

The Tomb attributed to Miktrull served as the final resting place for this esteemed Zeffo Sage, who possessed a strong connection to the Force. Its location was deep beneath the surface of the planet Zeffo, situated within the Outer Rim Territories. During the time of the Galactic Empire, the sole known entry point to the tomb was through a Crash Site. This site marked the location where a Galactic Republic Venator-class Star Destroyer had crashed shortly before the implementation of Order 66 in 19 BBY. An elevator within the Crash Site provided access to the underground Imperial Dig Site, which in turn led to a cave system housing the tomb. The tomb's design was highly decorative, bearing a close resemblance to the Zeffonian temple found on the planet Ontotho. A distinctive feature was the statue of Miktrull incorporated into the tomb's entrance. Despite some damage sustained by the Imperial era, the tomb remained remarkably well-preserved.
Its interior was richly adorned with various glyphs and gold accents lining its walls. The glyphs frequently repeated the term "astrium" near antiquated, damaged statues. It featured two identified main halls, including a multilevel hall that housed a pair of energy spheres that could be used to activate Zeffonian technology. The main hall was structured across two levels and showcased artwork depicting Astriums within the Bogano Vault, a Zeffonian data vault situated on the Outer Rim planet Bogano. This artwork became visible upon placing a Zeffonian energy sphere into its designated socket. These Astriums held the key to unlocking the vault's secrets, making them significant to the Zeffonians, and subsequently to Jedi Master Eno Cordova and Jedi survivor Cal Kestis. The Zeffonian energy spheres could also be employed within the main hall to elevate the spire of the Tomb near what would eventually become the Imperial Headquarters on the planet.

The main hall featured numerous entrances, including one that led to a puzzle course powered by Zeffonian technology. This technology could manipulate the gravitational forces of the planet. The puzzle course was inhabited by skungus, plant-like parasitic organisms, scazz, subterranean vermin, and phillaks, mountainous, horned, territorial creatures. The puzzle course ultimately led back to the main hall and then to a burial chamber through a corridor with three programmed sliding doors made of stone. These doors could be deactivated using a switch at the end of the corridor. The burial chamber held the sarcophagus of Miktrull, suspended from the ceiling. The sarcophagus sustained minor damage during the Empire's presence in 14 BBY, when Padawan Cal Kestis, a fugitive Jedi, explored the tomb. The burial chamber also provided access back to the initial main hall. Additionally, the Tomb of Miktrull contained another chamber accessible only through the main hall.
The Tomb of Miktrull was built during Miktrull's lifetime, either before or during the reign of the Republic. It was a tribute to Miktrull's mastery of the "Life Wind," the Zeffonian term for the Force, and was characterized by its grandeur and elaborate ornamentation. As the Sage requested offerings, numerous items were brought to the tomb as tribute. Votive candles, often encased in metal and adorned with carvings, were among the most common offerings. These candles were typically lit as a gesture of respect and reverence for the Sage, with their flames symbolizing Miktrull's enduring power. During its construction, Zeffonian laborers were used, and instances of overwork leading to death occurred. One Zeffonian soldier was killed for stealing a sacred offering to Miktrull, and their remains were discarded within the tomb. Tomb Guardians and energy spheres were strategically placed within the tomb, including the body of Zeffo Sage Miktrull following his death. Subsequently, an individual or group systematically destroyed many Zeffonian energy spheres and images of the Astrium within the tomb. Sometime before the fall of the Jedi Order in 19 BBY, Cordova and BD-1, his explorer droid, explored the Tomb of Miktrull, with Cordova meticulously documenting the various glyphs, artwork, and artifacts discovered throughout the tomb.
By 14 BBY, the Empire had located the planet Zeffo and started excavating the ruins of Zeffonian structures on the surface of Zeffo, but they were unable to access the tomb. This changed when Kestis arrived on Zeffo and gained entry to the Tomb of Eilram. Consequently, the Empire reactivated Project Auger, a covert operation aimed at recovering Zeffonian relics for the Emperor, leading to an increased Imperial presence on Zeffo. The Empire established operations at the Imperial Dig Site near the Crash Site, where they sought to unearth valuable Zeffonian relics.

During Kestis's second mission to Zeffo, he encountered the Crash Site and engaged with several Imperial Viper probe droid, then he proceeded to the Imperial Dig Site close to the tomb. There, he faced off against a company consisting of Imperial stormtroopers, scout troopers, KX-series security droids. As Kestis navigated the Imperial Dig Site, he located a workbench and upgraded BD-1, his companion droid, enabling him to utilize ziplines. He then narrowly evaded the Inquisitor Second Sister, formerly known as Trilla Suduri, and discovered a passage leading to a large cave system that contained the tomb.
While traversing the cave terrain, the Second Sister infiltrated Kestis's comms and taunted him. Kestis successfully entered the tomb through a crack in the wall, where he confronted a Tomb Guardian that eliminated two stormtroopers for trespassing. He then defeated the Tomb Guardian and used Force push on a damaged wall to access the first main hall, which contained a working Zeffonian energy sphere encased in a glass container suspended from the ceiling. Kestis then Force pushed a walled entrance where a Cordova Log played after BD-1 scanned the surroundings explaining that a push button device had the ability to manipulate the gravitational pull of the planet.
Kestis followed a path and reached the second level of the main hall. He faced off against scout troopers and stormtroopers and managed to survive. After exploring the second floor of the main hall, he exited the tomb and discover a large puzzle course inhabited by the subterranean, verminous scazz, parasitic, plant-like skungus and the mountainous, horned, territorial phillaks combatting against the Empire. Kestis navigated through the course, climbed cave terrain using vines, metal bars, and solved various puzzles all the while combatting against the Empire. He faced off against various types of purge troopers, troopers trained to kill Jedi, the standard Scout troopers, and the Stormtrooper variants he had encountered previously.

After completing the puzzle course, Kestis entered another main hall containing the sarcophagus of Miktrull. There he fought Imperial troopers and nearly fell to his death when a LAAT/le patrol gunship shot the chains holding the sarcophagus from the rooftop. While he fell, he remembered how to Force pull from a vision of his past where his Jedi Master Jaro Tapal instructed him on how to pull objects using the Force, allowing him to survive from falling to his death by grabbing a rope. He followed an exit from the main hall containing the sarcophagus and entered the first main hall containing a working Zeffonian energy sphere container. He used votive candles to break the glass container and place the energy sphere into its socket allowing the spire to rise. After placing the energy sphere, a mural appeared and unlocked an encrypted log played by BD-1 of Cordova explaining the mural, the Astrium, and how it could "perceive the mysteries of the Vault." Kestis left Zeffo afterward in search of an Astrium. Kestis's actions however allowed the spire to be raised, meaning that the Empire could fully explore the tomb and loot it of any valuables.
During his exploration of the tomb, Kestis utilized a Force ability known as psychometry to glean insights into past events within the tomb. While exploring the tomb, Kestis opened one chest, in one main hall that housed a working Zeffonian energy sphere, that contained Haysian smelt which could be used to construct a lightsaber. Another chest located near the same main hall, behind a creeper, was opened by Kestis which contained a Sumi BD-1 skin. A third chest close to the entrance to the Imperial Dig Site was unfastened by Kestis which had the Greezy Money paint job for the luxury yacht Stinger Mantis. An additional chest that contained the Zodiac Drifter paint job for the Stinger Mantis was unlocked by Kestis, close to the same main hall as the other chest which had a Sumi BD-1 skin.

The Tomb of Miktrull was conceived for the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a project developed by Respawn Entertainment and brought to the market by Electronic Arts on November 15, 2019. The location's initial unveiling occurred in the game's launch trailer on October 29 of the same year. Artist Gabe Yeganyan contributed to the project by creating concept art of the tomb. Similar to other aspects of the game, the location's design is significantly influenced by the 3D Metroidvania type design—an action-adventure subgenre defined by large, interconnected maps containing paths that could be unlocked as the player progresses through the game.
The Tomb of Miktrull's design aimed to depict a transition from a state of unity with the Force and nature, as exemplified by the Tomb of Eilram, to a state characterized by rigidity, corruption, and the pursuit of power. This was achieved by imposing order and rigidity on the organic decorations within the tomb, drawing inspiration from elements found in the Tomb of Kujet on the planet Dathomir. This also included the overall arrangement of spaces centered on idolizing the Zeffo Sages and their projections of power. The design puzzles seen in the Tomb of Miktrull were designed such that the votive candles coupled with a lantern spire would be the solution to many of these puzzles. The design puzzles were made in this way to help emphasize the corrupting forces of an empire. The tomb seen in the game was also designed in certain shots to explore the themes of a more decadent Miktrull and the imposing order of his architecture.

On May 4, 2020, Respawn Entertainment introduced a complimentary content update for the game across all platforms. This update featured a combat challenges mode, allowing players to engage with various enemies in predetermined waves from specific locations within the game, including the Tomb of Miktrull. The combat challenge for the Tomb of Miktrull consists of 4 waves of enemies. The first wave has the player face off against a jotaz and a Haxion Brood Bounty Droid. The second wave enemies includes two phillaks and a Haxion Brood Bounty hunter as enemies. In the third wave, the player fights against a Haxion Brood commando, a phillak and four scazz. The last wave consists of a Haxion Brood bounty droid, a Haxion Brood bounty hunter and a Haxion Brood commando. By successfully completing these combat challenges and accumulating a minimum of twelve points, players can unlock three custom skins for BD-1: Onderon Bloom, Kesselstone, and Galionica.
The update also incorporated a battle grid mode, enabling players to confront any number of enemies at various locations within the game, including the Tomb of Miktrull. These two modes could be accessed through the meditation training mechanism in the game.
