Crash Site

The Crash Site designates a section on the planet Zeffo. It was created when a Venator-class Star Destroyer, heavily damaged during a battle with a Separatist dreadnought, plummeted to Zeffo's surface. This area functioned as a central point, with the Venator Wreckage situated to its right, the Ice Caves and Imperial Headquarters on the left, and the Broken Wing in the middle. A significant portion of the site was submerged in water, and by 14 BBY, entry to the Venator Wreckage was only possible via an ion thrust engine within the Crash Site. During the Imperial Era, the inhabitants of Zeffo discovered the Crash Site and erected a memorial to honor the deceased clone troopers, remaining ignorant of the truth behind Order 66.

By 14 BBY, the Galactic Empire had control of the world and constructed the Imperial Dig Site in proximity to the downed Venator-class Star Destroyer. Access to the dig site was facilitated by a turbolift.

In 14 BBY, Cal Kestis stumbled upon the Crash Site while investigating the Imperial Excavation nearby. Also in 14 BBY, Cal Kestis located and gathered a Dreamwort seed. To express his gratitude to Greez Dritus for his assistance during the secret mission to rebuild the Jedi Order, he cultivated the seed within a terrarium aboard Greez's vessel, the Stinger Mantis.
