The Dreamwort was a plant indigenous to Zeffo, a planet constantly buffeted by electromagnetic winds. During 14 BBY, Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan, gathered a dreamwort seed with the intention of planting it in the terrarium belonging to Greez Dritus, his crew member aboard their opulent spacecraft, the Stinger Mantis, a luxury yacht.
The dreamwort, which boasts yellow flowers, thrived on Zeffo, a planet characterized by strong electromagnetic winds. It was commonly found growing on cliffs and in grassy areas. Furthermore, this plant flourished in the lakeside region that would eventually become known as the Crash Site. This location was notable for containing the remains of a Galactic Republic Venator-class Star Destroyer that had crashed on Zeffo following a battle with a dreadnought belonging to the Separatist Alliance. The plant featured a green stalk and leaves that ascended along its length. At the apex of the stem was a yellow flower, encircled by sharp, yellow petals.
Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan, obtained a Dreamwort seed in 14 BBY from a rocky section of the Crash Site. Kestis then planted the collected seed within a terrarium that was owned by Greez Dritus, his comrade, aboard the Stinger Mantis, their luxury yacht. Kestis had been amassing seeds from various planets as a way to compensate Dritus for his support in the Mantis crew's mission aimed at re-establishing the Jedi Order. Kestis remarked that the plants brought to mind Greez's fur.
The Dreamwort made its debut in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a video game released in 2019 and developed by Respawn Entertainment.
