During the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, a Galactic Republic Venator-class Star Destroyer, commanded by Jedi General Chiata, engaged in a battle against a Separatist Alliance dreadnought. The Star Destroyer of Chiata sustained significant damage in the conflict, despite the dreadnought being destroyed. This damage ultimately led to the crash of the Republic ship on the planet Zeffo after it was forced out of hyperspace.
The Star Destroyer's crew survived the impact, but Jedi Commander Marseph, Chiata's Padawan, became separated from her. Consequently, her clone troopers initiated a search for him. While they were searching, the Clone Commander and his troopers received Order 66, which triggered an assault on Chiata and Marseph. The Jedi killed all the clone troopers, but both Jedi later died from their injuries.
Jedi General Chiata and her Padawan, Jedi Commander Marseph, along with a unit of clone troopers under a Clone Commander, were aboard a Venator-class Star Destroyer during the Clone Wars in 19 BBY between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Star Destroyer engaged a Separatist dreadnought, resulting in the dreadnought's destruction and severe damage to the Venator.
Following a battle with a Separatist dreadnought, Chiata's Star Destroyer sustained significant damage. Upon exiting hyperspace, the vessel crashed on the planet of Zeffo, located in the Outer Rim Territories. Clone troopers under the command of the Clone Commander began searching for Marseph after the crash separated him from his master.
During the search, Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine transmitted Order 66 to the entire Republic unit, instructing the Clone Commander to execute it. Consequently, Chiata's unit attacked the Jedi General and her Padawan, forcing the Jedi to defend themselves and resulting in numerous clone trooper deaths. Both Jedi sustained injuries during the fighting, with Chiata dying and Marseph succumbing to his wounds after burying his master.
