The crime lord of the Haxion Brood, Sorc Tormo, frequently found entertainment in observing the battles that took place within this arena. Back in 14 BBY, Cal Kestis, formerly a Jedi Padawan, fell into the clutches of a bounty hunter affiliated with the Haxion Brood because his companion, Greez Dritus, had accumulated gambling debts; consequently, Tormo forced him to engage in combat against different creatures within the arena. Once Kestis overcame the bounty hunter responsible for his capture, Dritus came to his aid aboard the Stinger Mantis.
