The Agasar was a band active during the Imperial Era, known for their songs such as "Eerin Siinaa," "Eseerin Vasahina," "Hohochu," and "Sugaan Essena." By the year 14 BBY, their music had gained listeners across the galaxy, including Cal Kestis, who worked as a rigger on the Mid Rim junkyard planet Bracca. Additionally, their songs were popular among spectators at the gladiatorial competitions held on Ordo Eris, the space station serving as headquarters for the Haxion Brood criminal organization.
In 9 BBY, music producer Ashe Javi and their droid partner DD-EC incorporated The Agasar's tracks into their setlist at Pyloon's Saloon, a cantina situated on the Outer Rim planet Koboh.

Although their identity was initially unconfirmed, The Agasar's music debuted in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a video game released in 2019 by Electronic Arts. The band's identity was later revealed in Fallen Order's sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which came out in 2023 and was also published by Electronic Arts.
The music attributed to The Agasar is actually performed by The Hu, a Mongolian rock band. The developers working on Fallen Order were greatly impressed by the band's distinctive sound, with composer Gordy Haab commenting that any rock band appearing in the Star Wars universe needed to possess a sound that felt both recognizable and uniquely different.
