The underwater locale called The Regency, found on the planet Mon Cala, served as the destination for Regent Dors Urtya. He journeyed there following his acquisition of a recording from Princess Leia Organa. This recording held the final message of King Lee-Char to his people, as well as news of the king's death at the hands of the Galactic Empire. While situated at the Regency, Urtya disseminated the recording to Fleet Captains within the Mon Cala Imperial Trade Fleet. Upon watching the recording, these captains initiated a revolt against the Imperials stationed on their respective ships. Soon after, Urtya reached out to Organa aboard the Millennium Falcon from the Regency, explaining he was forced to act without forewarning because his fleet was on the verge of being seized. He also told her that he had contacted the Rebellion, who were sending available forces for assistance. Following the escape of several Mon Cala ships, accompanied by the Alliance Fleet, from Mon Cala, the Empire targeted the Regency, resulting in Urtya's demise.
