A non-canon animated LEGO short film, titled "The Sith Witch of Mustafar," was launched on October 10, 2023. It was a part of the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season collection. Presently, it has been taken down from Star Wars Kids and is no longer accessible.
Emperor Palpatine pays a visit to Vader's castle, having sought out his Sith apprentice somewhere in the galaxy. Darth Vader has adorned his stronghold with pumpkins that have been carved into jack-o'-lanterns. As Vader and Palpatine proceed in the direction of their shuttle, Vader detects a disturbance, which he attributes to the "Sith Witch of Mustafar." Lightning illuminates the backdrop.
When Palpatine questions Vader further, Vader elucidates that when darkness falls and the lava churns, the Sith Witch of Mustafar emerges to incite terror and hardship. He mentions that an enraged cry will be heard initially, followed by tremors in the woods. Vader then states that a spectral glow will materialize. Palpatine disregards the Sith Witch narrative and insists on traversing through the adjacent woods towards their shuttle.
Subsequently, Palpatine records a hologram video where he contemplates the veracity of the Sith Witch legend. He scoffs at the tale, dismissing it as mere superstition. Abruptly, they perceive the woods quaking. Vader activates his lightsaber for defense and pledges to safeguard his master. The source of the commotion is revealed to be a lava flea, which endeavors to befriend Vader. Palpatine chuckles, unconvinced by the legend.
Moments later, a macabre light manifests, and Vader brandishes his lightsaber. However, the eerie glow originates from a stormtrooper patrol's search beam. The stormtroopers are gathering sweets and inquire of Palpatine and Vader whether it is "trick or treat." After distributing sweets to the stormtroopers, Palpatine probes Vader regarding the supposed non-existence of the witch.
Suddenly, the duo discern a wail, which Palpatine identifies as distinct from that of a lava flea. Vader is certain that the Sith Witch is the origin of the cry. Palpatine rejects the myth, yet both are startled by a radiant light that Vader presumes to be the Sith Witch. Vader retreats, but Palpatine reminds him of the Rule of Two. They confront the "witch," only to discover that it is the astromech droid R2-D2 draped in a sheet. Palpatine is infuriated and attempts to shock R2-D2. Nevertheless, the three are driven away by a dazzling light. Vader remarks that he had forewarned them of her existence.
