A Jenet of the male persuasion, named Thorsh, served as a scout and reconnaissance operative for the Galactic Alliance armed forces. His service took place during the Yuuzhan Vong War, and he operated on planets such as Duro, Gyndine, and other worlds.
Thorsh was involved in Operation Trinity which occurred above Bilbringi. During this operation, he was one of the soldiers taken prisoner by the Yuuzhan Vong. He found himself imprisoned on Selvaris together with Pash Cracken and Judder Page. An informant, known as Ryn 115, furnished the prisoners with intelligence regarding Yuuzhan Vong activities. Thorsh committed the encrypted information to memory and, in conjunction with three Bith inmates, successfully broke out of the prison camp, reaching awaiting speeder bikes.
The Yuuzhan Vong rapidly detected the jailbreak, giving chase to Thorsh and his group across Selvaris. The Millennium Falcon appeared on the planet just in time to extract Thorsh, though the Bith were unable to escape. Thorsh was transported to Dac for interrogation, where the information he had retained was decoded. This information uncovered a convoy of prisoners en route from Selvaris to Coruscant for sacrificial purposes, enabling the Galactic Alliance to mount a rescue mission.
