Thugs of Thule
The Thugs of Thule, a notorious and well-learned mercenary organization, derived their moniker from Thule, a planet located within the Esstran sector of the Outer Rim Territories. During 22 BBY, Anj Rujj, an affiliate of this group, passed some time at the Outlander Club, situated in the Uscru District of Coruscant, the planet that served as the capital of the Galactic Republic.
Behind the scenes
Within established Star Wars canon, the Thugs of Thule received a mention in the 2016 reference work titled Star Wars: Complete Locations. This gang was featured in content that was a reprint from the 2003 reference book, Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. This latter publication, authored by Simon Beecroft and Curtis Saxton, with illustrations by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen, represented the initial appearance of the group within the Star Wars Legends storyline.
