Thuldin's Grant sector

The Thuldin's Grant sector existed within the Expansion Region of the galaxy. It shared borders with the Trailing Grant sector, the Montitian Grant sector, the Freestanding subsectors of the Expansion Region, and the Mid Rim. Within this sector was the Garen system, a star system that housed the planet known as Garen IV.

Initial exploration of the space encompassing the sector occurred between 1000 BBY and 25 BBY. During the Galactic Empire's rule, Garen IV served as the site of a penal colony. However, in 2 BBY, amidst the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic launched a raid on the colony, liberating numerous prisoners. By the year 25 ABY, the sector's population density averaged less than one million sentient individuals per star system. By 137 ABY, the entire sector was under the control of Darth Krayt's galactic empire, led by the Sith Lord.
