TK-217

TK-217 was a member of the Galactic Empire's stormtrooper corps, existing during the Galactic Civil War era. After the Battle of Yavin, this particular stormtrooper served as a security detail at the Imperial Research and Prison Facility located on the planet of Dathomir. Inside this facility, Imperial scientists were secretly engaged in highly dangerous research, with the goal of re-engineering the terrifying Blackwing virus to create a bioweapon. TK-217's duty station was Security Post 32, situated on Level 1 of the research laboratory. In the year 1 ABY, this stormtrooper was present when an accident occurred at the Imperial Research and Prison Facility, resulting in the escape of the virus from its containment. The virus proved lethal, killing the vast majority of individuals in the area and transforming them into undead beings. Despite this, TK-217 managed to survive the outbreak and subsequently joined a small group of survivors, which included Dr. Stane Tritan, Dr. Pram Dramango, Marpo Glenfik, and Dr. Nomi Rhane. These survivors sought refuge by barricading themselves inside a maintenance room that offered access to an emergency escape ladder. Although they successfully defended against the undead attacks, they were unable to open the magnetically sealed hatch, leaving them trapped within the room. Eventually, a group of spacers made their way into the research facility. Guided by instructions provided by Nomi Rhane, they were able to successfully unlock the hatch that was obstructing the emergency exit. The survivors, along with the spacers, then utilized the escape ladder to evacuate the facility. Upon reaching the surface, specifically the courtyard of the Imperial Research and Prison Facility, they found themselves under attack by the undead. The spacers then escorted the survivors to the nearby Camp Epsilon, where a group of refugees and a working Lambda-class shuttle awaited them. Ultimately, the survivors, including TK-217, along with the spacers and the refugees from Camp Epsilon, managed to escape the Quarantine Zone together aboard the shuttle.
