A Trade Federation gunship represented a particular type of starship utilized by the Trade Federation circa 32 BBY. One such craft materialized at the conclusion of a mission to Obredaan, thereby intimating to the Jedi Order a connection between the Trade Federation and the Jin'ha warriors. Moreover, this starship class saw service with the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the Clone Wars. A number of these gunships were observed on Vjun in 19 BBY.
The initial appearance of Trade Federation gunships occurred in the video game Star Wars: Obi-Wan released in 2001. Subsequently, they resurfaced in 2004 within the novel Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, penned by Sean Stewart.
