Treze's older sister

A Mikkian woman was the elder sibling of the Mikkian male Treze, who existed during the High Republic Era. The two, along with their family, at some point became members of the Path of the Open Hand religious group located on a planet in the Outer Rim. Although the group tried to get her to remain, Treze's sister ultimately chose to depart from the Path, as she felt that the planet did not offer her enough. In 382 BBY, Yana Ro, an Evereni member of the Path, also contemplated leaving and remembered the occasion when Treze's sister left the Path.

Biography

Yana Ro (pictured) saw Treze's older sister sitting in the gathering field and the unsuccessful attempts to convince her to remain with the Path of the Open Hand.

A Mikkian female lived her life in the High Republic Era. She had a younger Mikkian brother named Treze. By 382 BBY, Treze, the female, and the rest of their family became part of a religious cult called the Path of the Open Hand, which was situated in a compound on the planet Dalna in the Outer Rim. Yana Ro, who was an Evereni member of the Path, later mentioned that Treze frequently joked about the family joining the group to escape their debts.

During her tenure with the Path, Treze's elder sibling came to the conclusion that she desired more than Dalna could offer and wanted to live anywhere else; therefore, she made the decision to abandon the group. The Mikkian then sat in the center of the gathering field at the compound for several days, as Elders, parents, Littles, and initiates of the Path all tried to convince her to be reasonable and remain with the cult. Ro witnessed the attempts to persuade her to stay. Ultimately, none of them could convince Treze's elder sibling to remain, and she left Dalna.

In 382 BBY, Ro, who also wanted to depart from the Path, thought to herself that the group disliked those who deserted and that once her desire to leave became known, the Path's members would try to make her stay. The Evereni then added that she had only seen this behavior once before, recalling the time Treze's elder sibling had chosen to leave the cult. The Evereni noted that she—like Treze's sister—felt Dalna was insufficient for her.

Personality and traits

While she was a member of the Path of the Open Hand, Treze's elder sibling developed the belief that she wanted a life away from Dalna, as she felt it was not enough for her. Despite the attempts by a large number of the group's members to change her mind, the Mikkian stood by her opinion and eventually left the Path and Dalna.

Behind the scenes

Treze's elder sibling was referenced in the 2022 young-adult novel titled The High Republic: Path of Deceit, which was written by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as part of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
