Unbeknownst to many, the warlord group was actually a scheme orchestrated by Grand Moff Bertroff Hissa along with the Central Committee of Grand Moffs, with the goal of preventing Ysanne Isard's ascent to power.
The Trioculus faction's foundation rested on deceit, presenting Trioculus as the Emperor's son, another mutant with three eyes. This was further supported by a fabricated prophecy from Kadann, the Supreme Prophet of the Dark Side (though the false), stating that the new Emperor would wield the Glove of Darth Vader.
