Tryki, previously a Zabrak pirate of the female persuasion, found herself in custody after a failed boarding attempt on a First Order cruiser in proximity to Rakata Prime. Though her starship met its end, Tryki managed to flee and later aligned herself with the Zendiat Collective, a criminal organization under the command of Zool Zendiat. The collective, on one occasion, launched an assault on Niima Outpost situated on Jakku, seizing the junk boss Unkar Plutt to interrogate him regarding the leader of a J9 droid.
