TuMarr, a Houk of male gender, was employed by a criminal overlord whose identity remains unknown. His employer, along with the employer of a separate criminal named Slestack, were in competition. During the period of the Cold War, Slestack and TuMarr crossed paths on Dromund Kaas while each was independently trying to seize Grik Sonosan, an operative from the Republic Strategic Information Service who had been brought to Dromund Kaas for interrogation by Darth Baras. The apprentice of Baras successfully played the two criminals against each other, which allowed the Imperial Commander Lanklyn the opportunity to flee.
TuMarr is a character that is not playable in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was launched by BioWare in 2011. Fred Tatasciore provides the voice acting for this character.
