Following the initial engagement on the Outer Rim planet of Geonosis, a battle that marked the onset of the Clone Wars pitting the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Galactic Republic in 22 BBY, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker engaged Count Dooku in combat on Tythe. Just as in their previous encounters on Geonosis and elsewhere, Dooku successfully evaded being defeated by Skywalker.
The 2017 video game Star Wars Battlefront II included a reference to Tythe, with Dooku, as a hero character, using it to mock Anakin Skywalker. Because this taunt is only present in matches unrestricted by Star Wars canon timeline constraints, this article refrains from considering the line spoken by Dooku as part of established canon.
Tythe first appeared in Labyrinth of Evil, a Star Wars Legends novel authored by James Luceno in 2005. Within the Legends continuity, Tythe was a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories, serving as the setting for a confrontation between Skywalker and Dooku.
