A Aleena woman, living in 34 ABY, worked as a scavenger on the desert planet of Jakku. As a mother with two children, she searched Kelvin Ravine for rations so she could provide for her family. While BB-8 was travelling through the region in search of a ship to leave the planet, she requested that the droid assist her in locating food. The droid remembered some rations located inside a wrecked starship where he had spent the night before, and guided the family there.
