An armorer was active in the High Republic Era, plying their trade on Keldooine, a shadowport located in the Mid Rim. At this time, the mercenary known as Ty Yorrick recognized them for their expertise in crafting weapons. Following the completion of an assignment on Safrifa, a planet characterized by its swamp environment, in 231 BBY, Yorrick intended to offer the armorer some novian ore. This ore had been her compensation for the Safrifa job, and she anticipated the armorer would melt it down to create saw blades. Yorrick briefly entertained the idea of acquiring one of the armorer's saw blades. However, she also acknowledged her need for additional credits to fix her ship, which had sustained damage. Soon after, two Safrifan farmers contacted Yorrick, seeking her assistance, which led her to abandon her plans to travel to Keldooine and instead help them.
The armorer's existence is noted within The High Republic: The Rising Storm, a novel penned by Cavan Scott. This book is part of Phase I of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project and was made available on June 29, 2021. Before the book's launch, StarWars.com featured a glimpse of the armorer in a preview published on April 22 of the same year.
