In the year 23 ABY, on the planet of Hapes, an assassin used poison to eliminate a bomb conspirator. This conspirator had been involved in the failed attempt to assassinate Ta'a Chume, the Hapan matriarch, and her granddaughter, Tenel Ka. Their plan involved bombing Fountain Palace, the residence of the Hapan Queen Mother. The [bomb](/article/bomb/legends] failed to kill anyone, leading to the conspirator's capture. Before she could be interrogated, the assassin intervened and poisoned her.
Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta mentioned the assassin in their young reader's novel Young Jedi Knights: Lightsabers, which saw publication in 1996.
