This Jakku local was a human female who belonged to the Church of the Force. She resided in the Tuanul settlement located on the planet of Jakku. Approximately three decades following the Battle of Endor, this resident was in Tuanul when it came under attack from sixty stormtroopers serving the First Order. These troopers were in search of Lor San Tekka, who lived in the village, and the piece of a map he had. During this assault, the villager and her child were encountered by FN-2187, who chose to let them live instead of taking them prisoner.
Sasha Frost plays this character in Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens. Although the scenes showing FN-2187's interaction with the villager were removed from the theatrical release, her presence in the film was validated by the end credits. Subsequently, she was featured in Michael Kogge's Junior novelization of the film, as well as the graphic novel adaptation. It's worth noting that the graphic novel presents a significantly altered depiction of the scene, showing the villager in completely different clothing and without a baby or anything else in her arms.
