An alien was among the three leaders of the Final Occultation, a chaotic dark side cult. This cult uncovered the identities of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious and his apprentice, Darth Maul. Sometime between 40 BBY and 32 BBY, this alien, along with the other two leaders, Heldi Cerebron and Vasik Aldritch, and numerous other cult members, were apprehended. They were placed on a prison transport. However, the group managed to overpower their captors. While the vessel drifted in space, they initiated a summoning ritual to create a rift to madness.
Sidious then commanded Maul to recapture the imprisoned cultists. Upon arriving on the ship, the apprentice killed Cerebron and Aldritch before finding the final leader, who was in the process of directing the remaining cultists in their ceremony. The Sith launched an attack on the cult leader, but it proved ineffective. The leader then assumed a semi-gaseous state and subjected Maul to various visions. Following this, the leader commanded the cultists to attack. Rather than confront them, Maul withdrew and subsequently crashed the prison ship onto an ice planet in order to eradicate the cult and suppress their madness.
The unnamed leader of the Final Occultation made an appearance in Darth Maul – Black, White & Red 1. This comic book was penned by Benjamin Percy, features illustrations by Stefano Raffaele, and was released by Marvel Comics on April 24, 2024.
