A Grysk served as captain of the FateSpinner. This Grysk briefly commanded the FateSpinner, a Shatter-class WarMaster that functioned as "Jixtus"' flagship, in the final battle over Sunrise. This fought conflict involved the forces of the Grysk Hegemony against the Kilji Illumine and the Chiss Ascendancy. Jixtus resumed command after returning from the Whetstone. While the Grysk was in command, the WarMaster remained stationary in the middle of the conflict; however, once Jixtus resumed leadership on the warship, he initiated attacks on other ships with the massive warship.
The character of the FateSpinner's captain was referenced within Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, which is the last book in the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy. This 2021 novel was authored by Timothy Zahn.
