A commander of Human descent, and male by birth, fought for the Galactic Empire during the times of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, this Imperial commander found himself stationed at Outpost GRF-7493, which was located on Yavin 4. While Empire Day was being celebrated in 1 ABY, he encountered an Imperial spacer. This spacer had been dispatched from Dathomir by an Imperial data officer to meet with him. To ensure the success of the important mission, the commander arranged for the spacer to speak with Lord Vader. The Imperial gave Darth Vader some old documents about the Jedi they had imprisoned. After a brief discussion, Lord Vader instructed the Imperial to report back to the Imperial commander, who then rewarded the spacer with an Imperial banner. The soldier was then given one last task by the Imperial commander: to interrogate the Jedi prisoner in order to extract information. They were successful in the interrogation, and they obtained the information they needed. After the Empire Day celebrations concluded, the commander departed the facility to attend to other matters.
The Imperial commander demonstrated a strong loyalty to both Lord Vader and the Empire he served. He harbored ambitions of serving on Darth Vader's flagship, the Executor.
A nameless Imperial commander made an appearance as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The Imperial commander was included in the game with the release of "Publish 19," on June 29, 2005. During the Empire Day live event in 2005, which ran from June 29 to July 11, he was stationed at an outpost on Yavin 4. He was a key part of the quest called "Happy Empire Day!," which tasked players with a crucial mission across the galaxy. Following the conclusion of the live event, the Imperial commander was removed from the game when the Empire Day event was discontinued, until it was completely reworked in 2008.
