Not long after the Clone Wars commenced in 22 BBY, a wartime conference was conducted by the Jedi Order for the Galactic Senate. This gathering included numerous Jedi and Senators, notably Grand Master Yoda, Jedi Master Plo Koon, and Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. During this conference, Palpatine secretly manipulated the dark side of the Force against Sabé, a former handmaiden of Senator Padmé Amidala who was acting as her double while she was away on a secret mission; this action affected a pool within the garden.
