A leadership academy existed on the Core Worlds planet of Alderaan during the time of the Republic Era. Cady, a human who was emancipated from enslavement in 40 BBY, was given the chance to study at the Alderaan academy, an opportunity she accepted thanks to an offer from Orth, a Pijali minister. Orth later spoke with Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn about Cady's choice to enroll there. The leadership academy, along with the rest of Alderaan, was annihilated by the Galactic Empire's Death Star battle station by 0 BBY.
Claudia Gray included a reference to the leadership academy in her 2019 novel, Master & Apprentice.
