An alien entity, radiating light and of unknown origin, served under the employ of Jabba Desilijic Tiure around 4 ABY. This being, escorted by a Gamorrean sentry, directed the protocol droid C-3PO in the direction of Jabba's throne.
This character, often referred to as "Lightman," was initially conceived for the Throne Room segment within Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. The original plan involved generating a luminescent alien through post-production techniques; however, the character's inclusion was ultimately omitted before the film's completion.
