A type of blaster rifle, sometimes equipped with a scope, was utilized by Mandalorians throughout both the Republic Era and the subsequent New Republic Era.
Death Watch Warriors employed the blaster rifle, as did at least one Mandalorian super commando belonging to the Shadow Collective, an organization that evolved from Death Watch. A number of Mandalorian warriors from the Tribe also made use of this rifle model, including Din Djarin, a member of the Tribe who stored one on his starship, the Razor Crest. During the incident on Nevarro, a bounty hunter affiliated with the Bounty Hunters' Guild brandished this rifle against Mandalorians. The weapon possessed sufficient power to detonate B2 Super Battle Droids with just a single blast.
