This person wearing the mask desired great authority and control, and to achieve this, he influenced important figures. He strong-armed a ruler into bestowing upon him a position and property and used toxins on a government official to usurp her position. Nevertheless, the mask wearer's authority aroused jealousy in others, leading to his betrayal and demise at the hands of a former comrade, who then absconded with the mask. This mask, rumored to be cursed, ultimately fell into the possession of the Ithorian aficionado Dok-Ondar. The envoy Slokin purchased the mask from the aficionado, and after putting it on, had visions of the original mask wearer's actions. Slokin emulated the mask wearer's tactics to amass power, but met his end in a manner mirroring that of the first owner.
