A perilous world existed at the very border of Wild Space. This planet had been completely taken over by droids, who were subsequently rendered inoperative via an immobilization field.
This isolated planet, situated near Wild Space, was largely comprised of dense jungles and expansive oceans. It was absent from all known star maps, which is unsurprising given its proximity to Wild Space. The planetary atmosphere was suitable for respiration by oxygen-breathing organisms, such as humans.
A droid revolt took place on the planet, during which scorpion-droids received programming to eradicate all organic life. The droids' activities were halted by the placement of an energy projector on the planet, which served to immobilize them. Following the installation of the energy projector, numerous other [starships](/article/starship] suffered crashes on the planet's surface.
Han Solo and Chewbacca were later fleeing from the bounty hunters 4-LOM and Zuckuss aboard the Millennium Falcon, and they entered the planetary atmosphere in an attempt to conceal themselves within the cloud cover. The immobilizer beam from the energy projector disabled both their ship and the bounty hunters' ship, resulting in both vessels crashing onto the planet. Solo and Chewbacca discovered the energy projector and realized it was the root cause of their power failure. Pursued by Zuckuss, the pair ascended the pole supporting the energy projector and toppled it, causing it to shatter upon impact with the ground. However, the device's destruction led to the scorpion-droids reactivating and emerging from the ground, no longer suppressed by the immobilizer beam. The droids began to climb the pole, effectively trapping Solo, Chewbacca, and Zuckuss at its summit. 4-LOM, also reactivated, fired upon the pole, causing it to break in half. He aided them in combating the droids as they fled back to the Millennium Falcon. Once they had boarded the ship, the bounty hunters turned against Solo and Chewbacca. Solo feigned a power loss in the Falcon, prompting Zuckuss to incapacitate them with a stun net before escaping the ship alongside 4-LOM. Having deceived the bounty hunters, Solo and Chewbacca departed the planet, leaving 4-LOM and Zuckuss to contend with the droids independently.
